Stork at the Rhine painting - a fantasy artwork of the great bird riding a cable car over the vineyards in Ruedesheim, Germany. On the other bank of the river (the father Rhine - so gently they call Germans their biggest river) there is Bingen town seen in the artwork. To me personally this region in the middle of the Rhine is the most beautiful place in Germany,  maybe also in Europe and the whole world. Riding a cable car and admiring the fairy tale sceneries at the river Rhine with Roman times castles, vineyards, Mouse tower, Germania monument, cosy towns situated along the banks, narrow streets of Ruedesheim, trying there Federweisser, young wine at the Drosselgasse (Blackbird Alley) ... nothing can beat it so far with a charming atmosphere! Not to mention mysterious fog, autumn colors of grapevines, museum exposition in the castles, dining there with the views, finding exceptional souvenirs, talking to friendly locals and excited tourists, taking a boat to another bank or a ship cruise up or down the river... Unforgettable!
